Wais Kid Savings Account

Rural Bank of Cauayan Inc. has come out of its way to partake in community development through the launching of another worthy project- the WAIS KID Savings Deposit. This is a special Deposit product offered to students which is aimed to promote financial literacy among students.

Together with Mr. Eduardo R. Condat, School Head of Centro de Cultura Inc.; Ms. Maricel P. Bueno, Marketing Supervisor and Ms. Myralene Victorio Branch Manager of Rural Bank of Cauayan Inc convene a mini-forum among students. They explained the rationale of wise spending and building a good savings habit. Some Easy Saving Tips and inspiring stories of people who started out saving at an early age were also among the topics shared. At he end, they encouraged the students to start saving through the WAIS KID Savings Deposit of Rural Bank of Cauayan Inc.

There were 45 students from Grades 1-8 who immediately opened their WAIS KID Savings Deposit Account and many others are planning to open soon. Even parents and teachers showed their support on this valuable project as they opened Regular Savings Deposit Account.

Two (2) WAIS KID Shirts were raffled and the winners are: Jhazmine Chanelle Soriano and Arabella Argonia.
